Kenya

Maasai Mara 2 nights

Kenya's most famous reserve, in the south-west of the country and joined to the Serengeti across the Tanzanian border. Rolling grassland is home to lion, leopard, cheetah, elephant and buffalo, and the Great Migration crosses the Mara River between roughly July and October. The Maasai people live on the reserve's edges and in nearby conservancies.

Tanzania

Serengeti 3 nights

Tanzania's oldest national park: endless plains, huge predator populations and the Great Migration. The herds move through the park in a yearly cycle, calving in the south around January–March and crossing rivers in the north around July–October.

Tanzania

Ngorongoro 1 night

A UNESCO World Heritage site. The crater is an ancient collapsed volcano about 260 km² in area, with a floor about 600 m below the rim. It holds a dense population of wildlife including black rhino, lion and hippo in a natural enclosure.
